ContentsTrack offers various options for inventory uploading, prioritizing ease and efficiency to help users complete tasks quickly while ensuring thorough documentation. Although most users prefer uploading inventory via mobile devices, we still support uploading through the web app.

Adding Inventory to a Packout Task

Adding Individual Items:

  1. Under Main, click on Jobs.
  2. Choose the specific job you wish to add inventory to, then access the Inventory tab.
  3. Choose the desired room(s) from the room dropdown menu to specify where the items should be added.
  4. Click the Add button.
  5. ​Input the necessary details.
    1. You can add notes, images, and recordings by selecting the respective tabs.
    For further details on each item and associating a box/item ID, refer to Item Details.
  6. Finally, click on Save.

Adding Quick Inventory items:

A Quick Inventory is a compilation of items that can be conveniently grouped and swiftly added to a job, accelerating the process of assembling and distributing essential items for assignments. For adding or modifying quick inventory options, refer to Setting Up and Managing Quick Inventory.

  1. Under Main, click on Jobs.
  2. Choose the specific job you wish to add inventory to, then access the Inventory tab.
  3. Choose the desired room(s) from the room dropdown menu to specify where the items should be added.
  4. Click on Quick Inventory.
  5. Select which quick inventory you want to be added, then click Add.

Cloning Items:

When an item is cloned, it creates a new one with identical attributes to the original, encompassing its details, history, and attachments. However, it will require its own unique item/box ID.

  1. Under Main, click on Stations.
  2. Specify the station to which the item will be relocated, and then enter the item or box ID.
    1. Additionally, you can utilize the QR/barcode scanner by clicking on the corresponding icon.
    Ensure your webcam is connected and permitted to access the browser settings.
  3. Select Retrieve Details.
  4. Check the box next to the item you wish to clone, then click on Clone.
  5. Modify any necessary details in the popup and assign a unique item/box ID. Finally, click Save.
