Setting up and Managing Containers

Containers refer to various spaces where inventory items can be stored, such as trucks, carts, rooms, shelves, and more. In ContentsTrack, we enable you to add these containers and categorize them according to your needs, ensuring maximum customization for your inventory management.

Containers

In ContentsTrack, you can start creating containers by exploring two main categories: "Locations" and "Mobile Containers". "Locations" represent static areas, while "Mobile Containers" can be relocated within a location or transported to a different site.

Table View vs Tree View:

Table View

Table view provides a quick overview of each container's status and item count. Within Table View, click on the "# Items" hyperlink to access the inventory for that container. From there, you can edit items or navigate directly to the inventory page for a specific job.

Tree View

The Tree View feature offers a graphical representation of your container hierarchy, showcasing the current locations of your mobile containers. This enables you to adapt the layout as processes, statuses, and locations undergo changes.
