Stations - Mobile

Stations are designated locations used to track items undergoing specific processes, such as inspection or cleaning. They function as a type of container and must be set up in the Containers section via ContentsTrack Online.
Setting Up Stations

Updating Item or Box Locations to a Station
Stations are designed for tracking items at specific processing points, such as cleaning or inspection. The Stations tab is typically used by individuals actively working at a station to log and update items as they are processed.
Steps to Update Item/Box Locations to a Station:
- Log into the ContentsTrack mobile app.
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
- Select Stations.
- Select the station or scan its code.
- Tap the QR code icon to open the scanner.
- Enter the Item/Box ID or scan the code.
- Tap the QR code icon to open the scanner.
- Tap Retrieve Details.
- The item's location will automatically update to the selected station.
- The item will appear below; you can tap it to make further updates if necessary.
Cloning Items
Cloning creates a new item with identical attributes to the original, including details, history, and attachments. Each cloned item requires a unique Item/Box ID.
Steps to Clone Items:
- Log into the ContentsTrack mobile app.
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
- Select Stations.
- Select the station or scan its code.
- Tap the QR code icon to open the scanner.
- Enter the Item/Box ID or scan the code.
- Tap the QR code icon to open the scanner.
- Tap Retrieve Details.
- The item's location will update to the station.
- Hold the item until three icons appear at the top of the app.
- Tap the Clone (double page) icon.
- A cloned item will populate. Adjust any necessary details and tap the checkmark to save.
Deleting Items
Items can be deleted directly from the Stations tab in the mobile app. Once deleted, items cannot be reinstated.
Steps to Delete Items:
- Log into the ContentsTrack mobile app.
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
- Select Stations.
- Select the station or scan its code.
- Tap the QR code icon to open the scanner.
- Enter the Item/Box ID or scan the code.
- Tap the QR code icon to open the scanner.
- Tap Retrieve Details.
- The item's location will update to the station.
- Hold the item until three icons appear at the top of the app.
- Tap the Trash icon and confirm by clicking Yes in the popup.
