Returning an Item to a Customer

Sometimes, a client may need specific items returned without completing a full Pack Back. Here are two ways to handle this using the mobile app:

Option 1: Use the Tracking Tab

  1. Log into the ContentsTrack mobile app.
  2. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
  3. Select Tracking and ensure "Online" mode is active.
  4. Tap the scope icon in the bottom-right corner.
  5. Select Customer Site as the location.
  6. Enter the ID of the item, box, or container, or scan its barcode.
    • Use the QR code icon to access the scanner.
  7. Tap Update to save the changes.

Option 2: Use a Pack Back Task

If returning multiple items, even if not all items are being returned, you can use a Pack Back task.
