Customer Requested Items - Online

Sometimes a client may need specific items returned without completing a full pack-back process. Here's how to manage client requests and update item statuses accordingly:
Marking an Item as Requested by the Customer
- Navigate to the job associated with the client request.
- Open the Inventory tab.
- Locate and click on the item the client is requesting. Alternatively, select multiple items and use Bulk Edit.
- Check the Customer Requested box.
- Click Save.
Customer Requests via ClaimXperience
Clients can directly request items through ClaimXperience (available only with a ClaimXperience subscription and active job sharing). Steps for clients:
- Log into their job in ClaimXperience.
- Select Personal Property from the My Tasks menu.
- Check the boxes for items they want to request.
- Click Request and confirm the selection.
- Optionally, add comments.
- Click Request again.
Requested items will appear in a separate Requested tab and are marked with a Truck Icon in ContentsTrack. Once an item is returned, its location updates to Customer Site in ContentsTrack.
Returning Items
To mark requested items as returned:
- Open the relevant job.
- Go to the Inventory tab.
- Select the requested item or multiple items using Bulk Edit.
- Update the location to Customer Site.
- Click Save.
This process can also be completed using the mobile app via the Tracking tab.
