Customer Requested Items - Online

Sometimes a client may need specific items returned without completing a full pack-back process. Here's how to manage client requests and update item statuses accordingly:

Marking an Item as Requested by the Customer

  1. Navigate to the job associated with the client request.
  2. Open the Inventory tab.
  3. Locate and click on the item the client is requesting. Alternatively, select multiple items and use Bulk Edit.
  4. Check the Customer Requested box.
  5. Click Save.

Customer Requests via ClaimXperience

Clients can directly request items through ClaimXperience (available only with a ClaimXperience subscription and active job sharing). Steps for clients:

  1. Log into their job in ClaimXperience.
  2. Select Personal Property from the My Tasks menu.
  3. Check the boxes for items they want to request.
  4. Click Request and confirm the selection.
  5. Optionally, add comments.
  6. Click Request again.

Requested items will appear in a separate Requested tab and are marked with a Truck Icon in ContentsTrack. Once an item is returned, its location updates to Customer Site in ContentsTrack.

Returning Items

To mark requested items as returned:

  1. Open the relevant job.
  2. Go to the Inventory tab.
  3. Select the requested item or multiple items using Bulk Edit.
  4. Update the location to Customer Site.
  5. Click Save.

This process can also be completed using the mobile app via the Tracking tab.
