Printing Labels

To connect your items to the job and streamline tracking the chain of custody, utilize the print IDs feature. You can access this feature through the Print IDs tab within a job. These barcodes/QR codes can be applied to boxes or directly to items for efficient tracking.

ID Label Customization Options

ContentsTrack offers flexible label customization to fit your needs. Below is an overview of the available options:

Choose the type of label to use.

Barcode, QR Code

Label Size (Barcodes)

Select from several Avery label size options. Click the ? icon to view compatible Avery products.

3x10, 4x8, 4x15, 4x20, 2x3

Label Size (QR Codes)

Choose from Avery label options or a Zebra custom label. Click the ? icon for compatible Avery products.

Avery: 4x6, 2x3

Zebra Custom Label: Manually set width and height

Label Layout

Select the orientation for Zebra custom labels.

Vertical, Horizontal

Starting Cell

Specify which cell to begin creating labels on.

Quantity

Enter the number of labels to generate, with a tracker for the current barcode number.

Adjust the font size on your labels.

Label Text

Customize text displayed above the label.

Customer Name, Company Name (can be edited)

Room

Specify the room for the labels if added to the job.

Margins

Adjust label margins for precise positioning.

Barcode Size

Set the size of the barcode or QR code.

Adjust padding around the barcode or QR code.

Define text alignment on the label.

Justify, Vertical (Top, Center, Bottom), Horizontal (Left, Center, Right)

Preview Options
  • Show Margins: Displays margin guides in the preview only (not printed).
  • Show Bounding Boxes: Outlines label content for preview purposes.
  1. Under Main, click on Jobs.
  2. Click into the job you are working on then navigate to the Print IDs tab.
  3. Make needed customizations to your labels.
  4. Review the ID preview and click Print.
To reprint previous labels, access the history section where you can redownload or view details of previous print jobs.
