Item/Box Lookup - Mobile

The Item/Box Lookup feature allows users to quickly view the details of a box or individual item by scanning or entering its ID. This tool can also be used to update information, add media, duplicate, or delete items as needed.

Managing Items

  • View Box Contents: If a box is retrieved, all its items will be displayed. Tap on an item to make changes.
  • Edit Items: Make updates to the item's details and, if needed, add images, notes, or voice notes.
  • Duplicate or Delete:
    • Hold down on the item until three icons appear at the top of the app:
      • Trashcan: Delete the item.
      • Double Page: Clone the item.
      • Pencil: Edit the item.
    • Tap the appropriate icon to perform the desired action.

This streamlined process ensures efficient management of inventory directly through the mobile app.

How to Lookup and Manage Items or Boxes

  1. Log into the ContentsTrack mobile app.
  2. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
  3. Select Item Lookup.
  4. Enter the Item/Box ID or scan the barcode.
    1. Tap the QR code icon to open the scanner.
  5. Tap Retrieve Details to display the contents of the box or the specific item.
  6. Hold down on item until three icones appear at the top of the app if you'd like to edit, delete, or clone the item.
